Almost Here. – Quiet Vintage Jazz for Early Mornings & Relaxing

A cold, still pre-dawn at an old weathered barn on the sagebrush flats below the Teton Range in Wyoming. Frost silvers the grass, thin mist drifts over the meadow, and only the highest peaks have started to turn pink. Four cats have walked all night and stopped to wait for the first sun, playing very softly while they wait: one plucks an upright bass, one brushes a snare drum, one plays his baritone sax against a fence post, and their scruffy grey-and-white friend picks his acoustic guitar from the open barn door. No tickets, no luggage, just the clothes they came in. Warm baritone saxophone, walking upright bass, light piano, and brushes keep a slow, easy vintage swing, with a little bossa and waltz along the way. Instrumental jazz for early mornings, relaxing, reading, or a quiet hour before the day begins. Almost here. If you’re waiting for the sun, so are we. 🎵 Tracklist: 0:00:00 Before the Day Begins 0:03:29 Frost on the Fence 0:06:58 Waiting on the Mountains 0:10:28 The Barn Door Is Open 0:13:58 Sagebrush Bossa 0:17:27 Mist Over the Meadow 0:20:57 Nobody Up Yet 0:24:26 Cold Hands, Warm Horn 0:27:56 Slow Walk Through the Sage 0:31:25 Brushes on the Snare 0:34:54 Quiet Strings, Quiet Hills 0:38:23 Teton Bossa 0:41:52 Take It Slow 0:45:21 Waltz for the Old Barn 0:48:51 Breath on a Cold Morning 0:52:20 Stars Fading Out 0:55:50 Peaks Turning Pink 0:59:19 Not Quite Morning 1:02:48 Along the Old Fence Line 1:06:18 Bass and Brushes 1:09:47 One More Tune Before Morning 1:13:16 The Peaks Catch the Morning 1:16:46 Second set — the music repeats 2:33:32 Third set — one more time 🎵 Tap CC for live track titles. 👍 If you enjoy bass-led jazz, please like, comment, and subscribe for more from Alley Cats Groove. 🔔 Subscribe:    / @alleycatsgroove   ©Alley Cats Groove
