A country that's been popping up all over our social media algorithms, and locals are only just beginning to adjust to the influx of tourists. (We were shocked by the number of resorts under construction around Issyk Kul Lake) Stunning landscapes, endless cups of tea, meals consisting of soup and bits of meat we couldn't quite identify.
