This is the presentation that I gave at the Cambridge NeuroWorks Conference “Building neurotech with people, not just for people” held on 7th October, 2026 in Cambridge, England.
It’s the story of how prospective users of implantable Brain-Computer Interfaces (iBCIs), their carers and clinicians have established a list of unanswered questions over the past year or so to guide developers. I’m going to describe the process and the answers, explain how Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) related to the project, and then highlight what impact the PPI part of the team had.
