Adelaide Trains Vol.2 - 4th/5th Feb 2018

And follow me on instagram 📸   / alexs_train_channel   Whilst on my big holiday I was able to film lot's of trains around Adelaide. You will see Adelaide station in this video, the main hub for metro trains in the city. You will see 3000/3100 class comeng railcars and 4000 series Bombardier A-City Electric trains. Being in Adelaide also meant I was able to film the Ghan as it departed for Darwin on the sunday I was there. I was lucky enough to capture quite a few freight movements as well, both near Adelaide city and in the Adelaide Hills. I captured two Genesse Wyoming Australia services, 6DA2 from darwin and 1281s empty grain to Tailem Bend. I also saw Pacific National's 7MP5 and a PM6 service. In between movements I captured some of the shunting activities going on at Islington Yard, where the Intermodal terminal is for the freight trains.
