In this study, we explore the Torah's teachings on property, land, inheritance, boundaries, restitution, stewardship, and restoration. Many people view these laws as ancient regulations that only applied to agriculture and land ownership, but when we allow Scripture to define Scripture, we discover that these commandments reveal foundational principles about Yahweh's ownership, justice, and covenant order. Together we will examine: • Yahweh owns the land (Leviticus 25:23) • The purpose of land inheritance in Israel • Why boundary markers were protected • The laws of damage, loss, and restitution • Stewardship and responsibility before Yahweh • The restoration of inheritance in the Prophets • Why restoration ultimately belongs to Yahweh This study follows the witnesses found throughout the Torah, the Prophets, the Writings, the New Testament, and selected historical writings that align with the Scriptural pattern. One of the key conclusions of this study is that while Scripture speaks extensively about inheritance and restoration, the authority to restore Israel's inheritance belongs to Yahweh Himself. Our responsibility is not to establish tribal inheritances, divide lands, or place our trust in human movements and organizations, but rather to walk in obedience, justice, stewardship, and faithfulness while trusting Yahweh to fulfill His promises in His appointed time.
