Parasite Eve 2 PS1 part 10 - Dryfield - Burner Boss

I went back to the gas pumps, got my gas canister filled up and returned to Douglas in the garage. He told me that he should have the truck fixed and ready to go in the morning, and for me to get some rest. So I went back to my room and got some sleep. Aya dreamed again, more stuff from the distant past. When she awoke the tv was playing loudly, I guess at some point not shown she turned it on and fell asleep to it. She got up and took a shower, but then during this cutscene a huge monster also makes its way towards Dryfield, much bigger than any other thusfar. Aya got dressed super fast off camera and then bolted out of her room to see this monster equipped with a flamethrower built into its mouth and roaring like a mad elephant. Okay, its battle time! I had no idea I would even survive this battle, but I was going to try. First thing, I ran to the far corner, and from there, started shooting at it. I stood there even when the flames licked against me, continuing my assault despite being burned. Actually the flames didn't do that much damage, so maybe I won't even bother trying to dodge them. I continued to shoot, while also taking the heat of the fire. The monster occasionally tried to hit me with its fist but I was too far away for it to reach me. After a while a quick scene played, I heavily wounded it, but the battle isn't over yet, I just made it angrier. It continued to use the flamethrower and I continued to shoot at it with my pistol since I never bothered to get a better gun. But I was feeling given how much I hurt this thing so far, there was a chance I could win this. But then it grabbed me. Oh boy, I struggled to get loose, nah, and since I've only ever fought and beat this thing once long ago, I wasn't even sure what it would do with me, blow flames, eat me and game over, but nope, it tossed me hard against the wall. Okay, that wasn't so bad. I ran back to the corner, all the whole during this battle healing when I needed to. I can beat this beast! It grabbed me again, but this time sprayed fire in my face while holding me, then once again tossed me against the wall, and then a moment later smacked me into the corner which was fine because that was exactly where I wanted to be. I shot it a few more times and then it had a tantrum and destroyed part of the upper walkway before dying. Whew, okay, big boss defeated, that wasn't so bad, and I did it with the basics. After that I saved my game in my room and then had to find my way back to the entrance now that the quick route was destroyed had to do some bit of a detour. I ended up going through the well again, probably didn't need to but still I find myself getting lost in this area even as long as I've been exploring it and it not really being that large of a place. I got back to the motel entrance, saw that Douglas and his dog were safe, and he told me to come by his trailer later for something nice that he was going to give to me. I went back to the motel lobby to save my game.
