Building a jungle paradise for my Betta fish! 🌿 | 5 gallon planted aquarium build

In today’s video, I’m transforming a 5 gallon rimless aquarium into a natural jungle inspired home for my Betta fish sharky I’m starting with a fresh substrate using pea gravel pond soil and white sand before creating a natural hardscape using multiple pieces of driftwood. The goal is to create a layered overgrown jungle environment with plenty of hiding places, resting spots and room for sharky to explore. I’ll also be adding a variety of aquatic plants, including Lilaeopsis mairitania Microsword Java fern Anubias Bolbitis cryptocoryne and more There’s a little surprise visitor during the planting process too apparently even a tiny house. Spider can’t resist this new aquarium. Join me as a build plant and bring this little underwater jungle to life. I can’t wait to see how it develops as the plants grow, and fill in.
