Handel, Harp Concerto Op. 4, no. 6 (Organ Solo version) - I. Andante allegro

Handel's Concerto in B-flat Major, HWV 294, was originally composed for harp and performed as part of his ode "Alexander's Feast." It was later arranged for organ and published as Op. 4, no 6. The version I'm playing here is an organ solo transcription by Arnold den Teuling, which you can find on IMSLP. I added some improvised embellishments but decided to skip the repeats (life's too short!). Recorded on the Zaltbommel (NL) St. Maartenskerk sample set in Sweelinq (Wolfferts-Heijneman 1786/1796, IIIP/39). #baroque #organmusic #handel #concerto #harp
