Is UpperCircuit App playing with SEBI Regulations? | Why they sent us a Legal Notice of ₹10 Crore?

Uppercircuit, a fantasy trading platform and also an educational stock market trading platform sent us a Legal Notice worth INR 10 Crore. Reason for that was we asked a few questions in a tweet a few days back. When we got this notice, for us it meant 2 things - one, Uppercircuit wants to really save its reputation on a very hard earner business set up or they are trying to scare us to hide some shady stuff. We were not sure. There was only one way to find out! Get into the roots of the business on how do they actually run on a commercial level. As we generally do, we became a client, paid them and got into their platform. We also opened a few SEBI documents - regulatory ones obviously. There are regulations around real time feed display, around gamification of stock market, around incentivizing users on fantasy apps on Stock Market, GST and a lot more. Everything was opened up and in this video we actually got to the roots of Uppercircuit. And we have questions now, a lot more than we initially had. These questions have been listed in the video and we expect Uppercircuit to answer them. If they are able to answer - great. If not, we plan to take it head with the regulatory level on the exact platform where such stuff is taken care of.
