Does Carnival Encounter REALLY Smell Like Poo? 💩🚢 #carnival #cruiseship #cruiselife It’s our **FINAL day aboard Carnival Encounter**, and it’s time to answer the questions we’ve been asking all cruise… 💩 *Does Carnival Encounter really smell like poo?* 🚢 *Is Carnival really as bad as some of the reviews say?* 🤔 And most importantly… *WOULD WE CRUISE CARNIVAL AGAIN?* Well… we went looking for the infamous smell — and YES, we found it! 😂💩 There were several areas of the ship where the smell was pretty offensive, including an outside area near Deck 7 and around the Sky Bar. So unfortunately, we can confirm that particular rumour wasn't completely made up! Its an old ship..... But our final sea day wasn't all about hunting down strange smells! We tried Carnival's *High Tea* 🫖🍰, watched some comedy, explored more of the ship, talked about all the onboard upselling and shared what we REALLY thought about the food, entertainment, crowds and overall Carnival experience. And High Tea? Despite some slightly stale bread, *we'd actually recommend it!* The fillings and cakes were great and we had plenty of family laughs along the way. 😂 After four nights aboard, our Carnival Encounter experience was certainly… *interesting!* THE GOOD ❤️ ✔️ Super comfy beds ✔️ Our extended balcony ✔️ Plenty happening onboard ✔️ Great for people who LOVE to party ✔️ Lots for younger families ✔️ High Tea ✔️ Comedy ✔️ The Bonded Store ✔️ Airlie Beach & the Whitsundays THE NOT SO GOOD 😬 ❌ VERY noisy ❌ VERY crowded ❌ Difficult to find somewhere peaceful ❌ Food was hit and miss ❌ Lots of opportunities to spend extra money ❌ And yes… *THE SMELL!* 💩 So… *would we sail Carnival again?* We're STILL undecided! 😂 In fact, part of us wants to take another Carnival cruise just to see whether our experience was typical or whether we simply picked a particularly wild sailing. Carnival definitely has its audience. If you love a lively atmosphere, partying, meeting people and having something happening around you constantly, *this could absolutely be the cruise for you.* If you want peace, quiet and lots of relaxing spaces… maybe not! 😂 👇 *Have you sailed Carnival Encounter?
