Alan Moore's First Superhero Masterpiece

went a bit nuts with the sound effects. intimidating to cover this but decided to just cover what jumped out on reread instead of trying to touch every piece. might be a bit scattered, i cut a much bigger Nietzsche section out. i called Avril Lear Avril Leach but I'm not rerecording... also absolutely hated the marvel colours in the reprints, tried to avoid using them where possible, but the eclipse versions weren't always clearly readable. just going to pretend miracleman isn't joining the avengers. 00:00 - Superheroes Have Grown 00:49 - The History of Marvelman 03:06 - The Rebirth 06:47 - Bates 08:39 - Fights 09:39 - Power 11:00 - Bates Loses 11:48 - Deconstructing 13:24 - Reconstructing 14:59 - Gargunza 15:53 - Super-Pets 16:53 - Heroism & Godhood 17:37 - Miraclewoman 18:53 - Winter 19:44 - Qys & Warpsmiths 20:29 - Bates Got Out 23:50 - Olympus 26:38 - Liz Gets It 27:22 - Sometimes I Just Wonder 28:08 - Nietzsche 29:12 - Miracleman #alanmoore #miracleman #comics #superhero
