ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਜੀਲੈਂਸ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਦੀ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਟਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲਾਤ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾਜਾਇਜ਼ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਈਲ ਦੱਬ ਲਈ। ਇਹ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਐੱਮ.ਐੱਲ.ਏ. ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੁਣ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 14 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਯਾਦ ਪੱਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਜੀਲੈਂਸ ਦੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਜਾਂਚ ਮੁਕੱਮਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੰਗੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਵਿਲੇਜ ਕਾਮਨ ਲੈਂਡ ਪ੍ਰੋਟੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਨਗਲਾ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਕਾਨਫ਼ਰੰਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਿਜੀਲੈਂਸ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Punjab Vigilance Bureau's (VB) previous team, headed by an IPS officer (now retired), disobeyed the orders of the Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, to investigate the grabbing of 'shamlat' land in Zirakpur by an Akali EX-MLA. After more than two years, the government sent a reminder on August 14 to the new VB Chief to complete the investigation and submit a report. The Village Common Land Protection Society Chairman, Avtar Singh Nagla, disclosed this at a press conference. The Society also demanded action against the former VB chief for burying the file.
