In the Old Testament, He often appeared through fire, cloud, or an angel (Genesis 18; Exodus 3:2; Judges 6:11–24). These were not His full essence, since no one can see God and live (Exodus 33:20), but gracious signs of His presence. Many theophanies are seen as Christophanies—pre-incarnate appearances of Christ (John 1:18; Hebrews 1:1–3). Ultimately, theophanies show God’s desire to make Himself known, fulfilled when the Word became flesh. Exclusive Content: Who is the Fourth Man? 📖 Bible Readings: Colossians 2:15 (Genesis 16:7–13; Genesis 18:1–3; Genesis 22:11–18; Genesis 28:10–17; Genesis 32:24–30; Exodus 3:2–6; Joshua 5:13–15; Judges 6:11–24; Judges 13:3–22; Daniel 3:24–25; Colossians 1:15; John 1:1-3, 14, 18; Hebrews 1:1–3) 👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1. God desires to be known. 2. God is a relational being. 3. God reveals Himself through Christ. 💪🏼 Applications: 1. Make it your goal to know Christ. 2. Make time and effort in spiritual growth. 3. Make Christ known to everyone. 🎙Discussion: Why is our core mission to make Jesus known to the world? Alternative questions: 1. What have you learned from this devotion? 2. How can you practically apply our devotion? 🙏🏼 Prayer: Lord God, You are holy, awesome, and glorious, yet You have graciously revealed Yourself to Your people. Thank You for the theophanies that prepared the way for the greatest revelation—Jesus Christ, Your Son, in whom You have made Yourself known perfectly. Help me to live in awe of Your holiness, to rest in the comfort of Your presence, and to walk in obedience to Your will. May I daily see Christ as the ultimate expression of Your glory and grace. In His mighty name I pray, amen. Partner: Catalina
