Atlas Has Fallen on LA's Metal Scene, Bar Sinister & Vocal Health | Alex Sandra Podcast #30

Atlas Has Fallen are a Los Angeles-based metal band making their mark on Southern California’s independent heavy music scene. With a growing catalog of releases and a strong connection to the local live music community, the band released their seven-track project I Am in June 2026 through OCML Records. Their music includes tracks such as “Cold Side,” “Hypnosis,” “Insect/Infect,” and “The Empty Chair.” In this episode, I sit down with Atlas Has Fallen to talk about their journey as a band, musical influences, vocal health, the Los Angeles alternative music community, and the meaning behind their songs. We discuss how long the band has been together, their musical development, and the different influences that have helped shape their sound and creative direction. A big part of our conversation focuses on Bar Sinister, one of Los Angeles' iconic alternative and goth music venues. We explore what makes the venue special, its distinctive community, and why the people working there genuinely want to be part of its culture. We also get into vocal health and the importance of looking after your voice as a performing musician, especially when working within demanding rock and metal genres. Finally, we talk about the meaning behind Atlas Has Fallen's music, the inspiration driving their songwriting, and the messages they want to communicate through their songs. ⏱ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 – Intro00:57 – How long has Atlas Has Fallen been a band?03:26 – Bar Sinister: LA's iconic alternative venue and community08:04 – Musical influences and inspiration11:09 – Vocal health and caring for your voice14:11 – The meaning behind Atlas Has Fallen's music 🔎 TOPICS COVERED • Atlas Has Fallen• Los Angeles metal scene• Southern California heavy music• Bar Sinister• Los Angeles alternative music culture• Musical influences• Independent metal bands• Vocal health for singers• Rock and metal vocals• Songwriting and lyrical meaning• Band formation and development• Underground music venues• Independent music careers• Modern metal music• Supporting local music communities 🎧 Subscribe for more conversations with artists, producers, managers, and creatives shaping the future of rock and metal. 🖤 Support independent artists and underground music. 🎤 Follow Atlas Has FallenInstagram →   / apple   Music →   / atlas-has-fallen   🎙 Follow Alex SandraInstagram → @alexsandra_musicWebsite → https://alexsandramusic.comSpotify → https://open.spotify.com/artist/2YoA6... #AtlasHasFallen #AlexSandra #MetalPodcast #RockPodcast #LosAngelesMetal #BarSinister #IndependentMetal #UndergroundMusic #VocalHealth #MusicPodcast
