I DNFed My First 100 Mile Ultramarathon | Rocky Raccoon 100 Race Day Vlog 🏃‍♀️

In this video, I bring you along for my first 100-mile race, the Rocky Raccoon 100!! I brought you all along for my entire training journey and was so excited to run this, but unfortunately my Achilles injury caused me to DNF at mile 55. I (clearly) was trying so hard to push through and keep my spirits up, but I started to get nervous about potentially doing further damage. I’m glad I called it when I did (returned to the hotel with a very swollen and discolored Achilles) and despite what I said in that clip…I will be back for more ;) Thank you SO so much for your support throughout this training!! And soo sorry about the shaky shots -- we'll have better equipment next year lol!
