Mindfulness for Kids 👂 The Listening Game | Big Tree Hill

A gentle mindfulness video for kids and toddlers: Peanut's head feels noisy, so Nana teaches the listening game: keep still, close your eyes, listen. Your child learns: a first mindful-listening game (keep still, close your eyes, listen), and to name four sounds one at a time: a bird, the wind, water and their own breath. Good for: a busy, noisy day · quiet time at home or nursery · before a nap Words to say together: Listen · Bird · Wind · Water · Breath For grown-ups: Play it together anywhere: sit or stand still, close your eyes, and see how many sounds you can find, one at a time. Afterwards, try it outside or by an open window. Some children don't like closing their eyes: looking at the floor works just as well. A few calm minutes to share; every child is different.
