Richland Carousel, Mansfield, OH: April 29, 2012

A beautiful day visiting cousins, Brother and sister, Tom and Cinda, near Mansfield, Ohio. We take a ride on the carousel. The platform is a better than new Dentzel with hand carved figures. All construction and restoration was done in Mansfield. This carousel boasts a menagerie. Menageries were popular before WWI. The Stinson Band Organ was not playing this visit. The music is the recording playing April 29. The sculpter and flowers pictures interspersed with our ride are pictures we took at the nearby Kingwood formal gardens.
