Richland Carrousel Park Stinson Band Organ

"Some Winter's Night" (Max Kortlander) and "There's A Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder" (Jolson, Rose & Dreyer) played by the Stinson Model JB66 band organ at Richland Carrousel Park, Mansfield, Ohio. The JB66 plays Style 150 rolls and is based on the Wurlitzer 153 Special at the Columbus Zoo carousel. Recorded by me, photos by me, July 1995 (except the first photo which was lifted from the web and the second which is a postcard). The carousel was built in 1991 by Carousel Works and was the first all-wood, hand-carved carousel built in the U.S. since the early 1930s. The frame is an original Dentzel. The two tunes here are the last tune on roll 13114 followed by the first tune on roll 13161.
