Devil is lurking behind me I am trying I am trying Footsteps echo when I am alone Shadows whisper like they know Every sin I tried to bury Every scar I didn’t show. Cold breath crawling down my spine Feels like somethings right behind I keep running from the voice But its living in my mind. I am doing my best to stay good But it dont feel like I should THE DEVIL IS LURKING BEHIND ME! WAITING FOR THE DAY I BREAK! I am holding on, but I am slipping slowly How much more can I take? I AM DOING MY BEST TO STAY GOOD! BUT THE DARK WONT LET ME BREATHE! He is waiting for me to fail Yeah he is waiting for me to bleed! Mirror shows a different face Someone I dont wanna be Every choice feels like a war Between the devil and me. Heartbeat like a ticking bomb Counting down to what I will become I can feel it in my veins Like the end has just begun.
