36 years ago, the global community of pop music listeners made a huge mistake. They crucified a pop duo for not actually singing on the album or singing live t the point where their Best New Artist Grammy was stripped, and the group was cast off into the dustbin of ridicule. Several years later, one of the members was found dead in a hotel room, and we never got to hear that album that featured Rob and Fav singing the songs that made them massively famous. Every since then, the music industry has grown increasingly fake. Mainstream pop artists might as well be put together in a laboratory or an assembly line. Recordings have no life in them because the "performances" are all Frankensteined together, assembled from multiple takes and re-takes rather than just singing the song. Fake instruments have replaced real ones, and session players have always been acting behind the scenes, ghost-recording songs from your favorite artists. Autotune has replaced singing and its use as a tool of pitch correction has infected music at every single level. But Milli Vanilli bad? Please. Give them the Grammy back, because it's all fake and only growing more phony as AI starts replacing actual performers and songwriters. #justice4millivanilli Think I'm wrong?
