ToughBite Session: The Topwater Bite Died… Then the Nail Weight Took Over

I started out on a topwater bite, but as the conditions changed, the fish stopped chasing. Time to make an adjustment. In this session, I’m fishing a local pond with BFS gear, starting with topwater to trigger reaction strikes before switching things up with a nail weight worm to slow down and target pressured bass. When the aggressive bite disappears, adapting is what puts fish on the bank. The nail weighted worm helped me pick apart areas that the topwater couldn't reach and proved that a simple change in presentation can make all the difference. Thanks for watching!
