Hello everyoneManaging a tech company everyday requires me to speak cool, act cool and sometimes to be bossy. But I am not going to do this today. I stand in front of you as Avin Qadir a passionate , enthusiast digital tech entrepreneur and a co-founder of click iraq. Which dedicated our service to provide digital technology to our clients in Iraq and middle eastMy journey is not only about technology, it is a story of empowerment and the continuous pursuit of a vision.   Leading a tech company, in Iraq as a woman in a male dominated area is not a common thing also it is not an easy thing. Once we started our company we established and set up all the tools needed to sustain our company. Believiing that a good human resource can help you achieve your company vision. While I was working hard to get clients, to train our team, to manage them and feed them with knowledge day by day. I felt the gap is so huge that we need to do something about it. Digital technology needs digital literacy, and due to the fact that tech infrastructure in Iraq is not well-established private sectors has to participate in this development.   As a result, I became passionate for digital literacy to empower individuals so that they can participate fully in society, in the economy, and in the education. And you know that passion was such a liberation, I felt like if we do this we will educate young people and also with this education we allow them to be financially free. Because financial and education freedom can bring liberation and since woman are very few in this sector, I felt more moved toward it.   Throughout our journey in Click Iraq with advantage of our digital technology skills and specifically our vision towards digital literacy, we have created three advanced entrepreneurial project in Iraq. Where each project provided enormous amount of job opportunity, skilled professionals, and empowered individuals.   Metaphorically speaking, our life is given to us in a box of a puzzle. Once we open the box, it is an incomplete picture, we do not see the full picture until all the pieces are put together in a right place. Meeting with IOM and EDF was like this piece of puzzle that with their support they completed a part of my vision. I am a person with a great vision, I want to live with an impact, which I am already doing it. However, this is never an easy thing without supporting hands. Yes, My partner and I have dedicated our time to sustain our businesses, to convert our entrepreneurial mindset into actions, to work even harder than you think to stand on our own and fund our business, yet to grow bigger you need others to motivate you, to support you and to direct you, IOM, EDF, KFW and BZ was this support and motivation for us, the good news is, after supporting ClickEd which  is a skill learning platform to gain digital technology courses, we pursued building two new projects Job Studio a platform to find freelancers and job listings. and Next Step a platform to connect students with universities. In our company we have provided more than 400 job opportunities until now, with ClikEd we trained more than 250 young people and women specifically, with Job Studio we have more than 6000 freelancers on our platform and more than 300 companies, this is just doing great, and we are happy we provide job opportunities in Iraq. Lastly with Next Step we provided opportunities for more than 3200 students to be able to get direct support, training, scholarships, and other educational needs to choose their universities smarter that will align with future career needs.   Iraqi Kurdistan is full of potential individuals and great mindset, people like me, women like me, it just requires the right opportunity to shine in. What we did so far was not an easy thing but we know we will put an impact with making projects that will serve developing the use of digital technology and technology with the literacy of digital.   I would like to leave the stage with a note nobody remembers or measure the efforts you have made to succeed. People primarily remember the accomplishments, not the struggles. Achieving success needs inner conviction, self-education, and financial liberation. women are natural leaders, effortlessly moving through different roles—whether as a woman, a mother, a worker, a boss, or even as an emerging leader. Top of Form So, let’s Invest in women because an educated woman brings generations of educated individuals and create better societies. Thank you for allowing me to share a glimpse of this incredible journey with you today. In Kurdish I celebrate Women International Day: roji jihani zhnan piroza, zor swpas Avin Qadir Berlin-Germany
