We went into this Saturday expecting one of our biggest farmers market days of the entire year. Peak summer produce was rolling in, the trucks were loaded, and this was one of those Saturdays where a huge sales day could make a real difference for the farm. But the window for these massive summer market days doesn’t last long. Kids are heading back to school, fall sports are starting, and farmers market crowds will soon begin to slow down. That made every hour of this Saturday count — especially with rain moving in during the second half of the markets. In this video, we’ll take you along for the entire market day as we chase one of our biggest paydays of the season. I also bring you along for a cantaloupe delivery to our local farmers market, while Natalie and her crew take over the camera at the Clintonville Farmers Market. Emma also has a camera at Worthington, where we gave away our biggest cantaloupe of the year to the person who came closest to guessing its weight!
