Youth Climate Convening 2026: Lucky

Nature doesn't ask too many questions. It just lets you be, and makes you feel safe. Lucky wants every queer person to feel exactly that. Lucky is an environmental and social justice filmmaker and the founder of Queer-e-Junglers, a youth-led collective in Delhi and Assam. Queer-e-Junglerers is building a movement where ecological justice and queer justice go hand in hand by making nature education accessible, strengthening climate resilience, and equipping queer, trans, and caste-marginalised communities with the knowledge and skills to become environmental stewards, nature educators, and guardians of forests and the planet. Queer-e-Junglers is now building Satrangi Climate Saathis, a community space in Delhi that will host climate dialogues, serve as a small library and resource hub, and act as a mutual aid and rapid-response space during climate emergencies. Lucky's call to action is simple… The forest belongs to everyone.
