Bible in a Year Day 286

Bible in a Year Day 286 Mark 9:14-47 Luke 9:37-50 Matthew 17:22 to 18:6 Jesus freed a boy from a violent deaf and mute spirit who the disciples were not able to exorcise. Jesus said it was because “This kind cannot come out by anything except prayer.” Jesus told His disciples He would be killed and raised on the third day. The disciples discussed which of them would be the greatest. Jesus said they must become like children to enter the kingdom of heaven, and warned them of great punishment if they cause a child to sin. The disciples were concerned that others were casting out demons in Jesus’ name. In Capernaum, the tax collectors approached Peter. Jesus sent Peter to catch a fish to collect the tax money.
