Yoshi's Treasure Hunt Original Soundtrack

This is the soundtrack of "Yoshi's Treasure Hunt", a Super Mario World-romhack and Gregor & Moose's contest entry for the 2nd "Chocolate Level Design Contest", which took place from October 1 to November 15, 2013. Music composed by Moose ( ‪@MooseSMW‬ ) Release date: 11/12/2013 Download SPC-Set: https://www.mekacheck.com This contest entry was originally started by Gregor, but when Moose expressed interest in composing music for one of the entries, Gregor jumped at the chance and the two teamed up. This hack turns SMW's Yoshi into the protagonist and we find him in a role usually associated with Wario: as a treasure hunter! Yoshi's journey begins in a forest and leads him to nearby ruins in a lake. During the level, good use is made of Yoshi's special abilities (he's not just a replacement for Mario) and even though there are no power-ups (a planned health system ultimately couldn't be implemented) the level always feels fair, fun and overall quite charming - and the music certainly adds to that as well. Fun, Difficulty, Design & Aesthetics (which did include music) were judged by S.N.N. & FPzero, and Gregor & Moose's entry took fifth place out of 29 submissions, scoring 68 out of a possible 80 points. Moose composed two tracks for the level, one for the forest and the exterior of the ruins, and another one for the interior areas.
