In Episode 17 of Last Bear Standing, construction officially begins on our new desert home and horde base—and the centerpiece of the design requires one very important thing: 🕳️ A MASSIVE PIT. We break out the tools and start excavating, but all that activity quickly attracts some unwanted attention. 🧟 SCREAMERS! One scream becomes another...And suddenly our peaceful construction project turns into an all-out battle as wave after wave of increasingly dangerous zombies comes pouring into the area. ☢️ Mutated zombies 💀 Feral Wights 🧟 Radiated enemies 📢 More Screamers calling for backup It's time to put the Intellect build to work. ⚡ Level 6 Stun Baton 💥 Repulsor Mod 🤖 Our newly crafted Drone with its own Stun Mod Between our baton and our new robotic backup, we shock, launch, and beat our way through the invading hordes while desperately trying to finish the pit. Eventually, the digging is complete. But the day isn't over. We head over to Trader Bob and pick up another job that sends us to: ☕ Beanthere Coffee Company What starts as another loot run quickly stretches into the night, and the desert becomes a much more dangerous place once the sun disappears. 🌙 Feral zombies outside 🧟 End-loot ambush waiting inside 📦 Valuable loot just out of reach With enemies attacking from outside while another group guards the final stash, getting out with the goods becomes another fight for survival. ⚙️ What's in this episode: New desert base construction Horde base pit excavation Screamer invasion Feral Wight attacks Mutated and radiated zombies Level 6 Stun Baton combat Stun Drone action Beanthere Coffee Company Nighttime POI clearing 🔥 We started the day digging a hole and somehow ended up fighting a Screamer-fueled invasion before battling through the night for one more pile of loot.
