✨ WHAT ARE THE SABIAN SYMBOLS? The Sabian Symbols are a sequence of 360 symbolic images—one for every degree of the zodiac. Each symbol presents a scene, figure, object or event that can be contemplated as an expression of human experience and consciousness. The symbols originated in San Diego in 1925 through the collaboration of astrologer Marc Edmund Jones and clairvoyant Elsie Wheeler. Jones organized the symbols and developed their astrological framework, while Wheeler received the 360 images during a single extraordinary day. Marc Edmund Jones published the foundational interpretation of the symbols. Astrologer and philosopher Dane Rudhyar later expanded them through a psychological, spiritual and evolutionary perspective. Contemporary astrologer and author Lynda Hill has also become one of their most widely known and respected interpreters, helping introduce the Sabian Symbols to new generations. The image evokes trophies, status and the display of accomplishments. There is value in recognizing what we have achieved, and in the discipline and courage that achievement required. Yet external symbols cannot measure the whole person. The song asks us to carry forward the wisdom of our victories rather than depend upon applause. Leo 5° — Rock Formations at the Edge of a Precipice. Ancient stone and immense depth bring our personal stories into a larger perspective. At the edge, courage meets uncertainty, and self-confidence learns humility. We are small within the scale of Creation, yet our presence and choices still matter. True perspective neither diminishes our gifts nor makes them the center of everything. The lyrics move from a heartbeat and gathering fire toward the spaciousness of the canyon. The repeated invitation to “let yourself be seen” is paired with a reminder to consider what our actions awaken in others. Creative freedom becomes more trustworthy when passion is joined with awareness, feeling with reason, and daring with perspective. The deeper insight of SELF-CONFIDENCE is that genuine individuality does not require grandiosity.
