Ex-Lover Sentenced in BRUTAL Sword Slaying

New Mexico man Isaac Apodaca was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison, with the possibility of parole, for the brutal sword slaying of his ex-lover, Grace Jennings, in October 2022. Prosecutors say Apodaca did not kill Jennings but played a role in her murder, which was carried out by his girlfriend and co-defendant, Kiara McCulley. Jennings’s loved ones spoke on her behalf, describing their loss and the lasting mental effects on their family. Apodaca’s mother also spoke about his life and the abuse he allegedly experienced in the relationship.
