La Pollinica Traslado 2026: The Start of Holy Week in Málaga

Yesterday (March 22, 2026), I filmed the 'Pollinica' Traslado from my balcony on Calle Montaño. You can see two distinct sacred images: 14:04 - The first is San Juan Evangelista, carried entirely by the young children of the brotherhood. It’s amazing to see them work together in such a narrow gap! 22:00 - The main event: Jesus on the Donkey (La Pollinica). This massive 'throne' represents the entrance into Jerusalem. Look how close the gold-carved wood comes to the walls of my building! This is the official start of the 2026 Holy Week season in Málaga.
