Hazel - Teaching Your Puppy to Come When Called (Recall Rules & Long Line Training)

In this session, Hazel practices coming when called, starting indoors where it's easy to succeed before moving outside. We cover simple rules that keep your dog wanting to come to you. Pick one cue word everyone in the house uses, pay with better treats for harder jobs, and never call your dog to end the fun, for something they dislike like a bath, or to scold them, even after a scary escape. We also show how to use a long leash (a "long line" or "drag line") on a harness so your puppy can explore safely while you practice.
