This Old LV Speedy Deserved Better, So I Rebuilt It

This old LV Speedy deserved better, so I rebuilt it.This very used original had tired canvas and worn corners, but the brass was still beautiful. I took it apart, cleaned everything, and reclaimed the brass hardware to use again. Then I remade it into my own version of a boston bag - with reinforced lining for structure in the front, back and sides, an internal lining with a zippered pocket, a flat reinforced bottom with feet so it stands on its own, a two-way light taupe zipper for subtle contrast, and dark brown leather straps from another rescue for a softer, more monochromatic feel.
