The Wailing Full Movie Recap

The Wailing (2016) full movie recap. In the rainy mountain village of Gokseong, Sergeant Jong-goo is a clumsy, easily frightened country cop who would rather finish breakfast than chase trouble. Then a farmer is found dazed and covered in a strange rash after a shocking crime, and more villagers start losing their minds one after another. The lab blames wild mushrooms, but the village gossip points at a quiet Japanese stranger living alone in the hills. As the tragedies pile up, Jong-goo meets a mysterious woman in white who seems to know far too much, hears a terrified herbalist's story about the stranger in the woods, and finally creeps into a hidden room full of candles, horned charms and photos of the dead. With a famous shaman called in and his family's peace on the line, he has to decide who to trust before the curse reaches his own home.
