Altamont Corridor Express CEM Cabcars in Action

Since October 20th, 2024, the infamous Bombardier Series IX CEM Cabcar made it's official debut on a 49ers express train with an F40 & Siemens Charger trailing. After a while, another Cabcar became qualified to run in regular service, with a total of five CEM Cabs delivered to ACE and three of them are running on various ACE Trains. These CEMs were the first CEM Cabcars in California and third overall, with GO Transit and Sounder being the first two transit agency to use them. For those who want to see these CEM Cabs, there is one leading ACE 2 and another on ACE 8, and sometimes they will make appearances on the 49ers trains that ACE runs to Levi's Stadium.
