A Tallahassee police officer found a sealed bottle of vodka in a traffic stop. On her own body camera, she broke the seal, poured some of it onto the road, and capped it. The arrest report said the bottle was "opened." Ten months later she was put under oath and asked whether she had unsealed it. Her answer: "Unknowingly, yes."
Calvin Riley Sr. was convicted of DUI anyway. The appeal was affirmed on August 15, 2025.
