Episode 36 – A divine visit to Nainativu Nagapooshani Amman Temple. In this episode, I finally arrived at the sacred island of Nainativu. As soon as the ferry approached the shore, the magnificent temple tower welcomed everyone from afar. Seeing the towering gopuram shining in gold and dark brown under the sunlight was truly mesmerizing. Before heading to the temple, I was surprised when a few of my followers came over to say hello. It was wonderful meeting you all! Since I was wearing shorts, I wasn't sure if I would be allowed inside. The security guard explained that I couldn't enter the main sanctum area, but I was still welcome to visit the temple grounds and experience its peaceful atmosphere. Walking around the temple was a beautiful experience. The shade from the large trees was a blessing in the scorching heat, making it a peaceful place to slow down and take in the surroundings. One of the most memorable moments was receiving the temple's sacred meal (prasadam). I sat on the floor with everyone else and enjoyed one of the most delicious meals I had during my Sri Lanka journey. It was hot, simple, satisfying, and incredibly comforting. It truly felt like the food was a blessing from God. ❤️🙏 After spending time at the temple, I took the ferry back to Pungudutivu, carrying with me unforgettable memories of this sacred place.
