Part 4 – Words almost fail us. We finally encountered the legendary swimming cows of the Transkei, a surreal sight that felt straight out of a dream. But the day wasn’t without its challenges—we had a vehicle slide sideways down a mountainside, coming far too close for comfort. We navigated river crossings beside collapsed bridges, remnants of what once were, pushing deeper into the raw, rugged beauty of the Wild Coast. And then, the moment we had been chasing: we reached one of only 19 waterfalls in the world that plunge directly into the ocean—a spectacular end to an unforgettable journey.
