THE MOST DISTURBING MANHWA EVER MADE (BUT IT'S HIGHLY ADDICTIVE)

Killing Stalking is the most disturbing manhwa ever made, and readers cannot put it down. In April 2016 Koogi’s webtoon won the grand prize at Lezhin Comics’ world comic contest, beating 718 other entries. It opens like a romance: Yoon Bum, a lonely stalker, breaks into the house of his crush, Oh Sangwoo, and finds a woman tied up in the basement. Then Sangwoo comes home. What follows is a BL horror story told from inside the victim’s head, as Bum keeps going back to the serial killer who crippled him, lies to the police to protect him, and still wants to see him after everything. This video explains the whole plot of Killing Stalking from chapter one to the final chapter, including Sangwoo’s past, officer Yang Seungbae’s investigation, the death of Min Jieun, and the ending with the box of ashes. It also looks at why reviews call it vile, stomach-churning and sick, then give it five stars. Behavioral scientist Coltan Scrivner calls that morbid curiosity: a drive to learn about threats so you can avoid them later. And it shows how Lezhin’s release turned a weekly manhwa into an addiction: two chapters free, a coin-lock at chapter three, and a cliffhanger at the end of every one of the 67 chapters for more than two years. Spoilers for the entire series. Viewer discretion is advised.
