Junkers A 50 Junior Kauhava Air Show 2025

The absolute gem of the country exhibition is the Junkers A50 Junior ultralight, a new production aircraft from Junkers Aircraft that arrived in Kauhava from Germany. This open-cockpit aircraft is based on the record-breaking aircraft of the 1930s, which was used by, among others, Finnish aviation pioneer Wäinö Bremer on his flight adventure to Africa. The aircraft is visiting Finland as part of a modern flight adventure around Europe. Maanäyttelyn ehdoton helmi on Saksasta Kauhavalle saapunut Junkers Aircraftin uudistuotantoa edustavat Junkers A50 Junior -ultrakevyt. Tämä avo-ohjaamoinen ilma-alus pohjautuu 1930-luvun ennätyslentokoneeseen, jolla mm. suomalainen ilmalupioneeri Wäinö Bremer teki lentoseikkailun Afrikkaan. Koneyksilö vierailee Suomessa osana nykyajan lentoseikkailua ympäri Eurooppaa.
