Steve Biko Academic Hospital internationally recognised for its stroke care facility

Several public healthcare facilities have made headlines for all the wrong reasons lately, but there is an institution that has every reason to celebrate. The Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria has been internationally recognised for its Stroke care facility. The institution is the first in the country to receive the World Stroke Organisation Angels Diamond Award for its commendable work in Acute Stroke Care.
