Our prayer is to show that every life is known and cherished by God even before birth: “Before I was formed, God, You knew me” (Jeremiah 1:5) and “In my mother’s womb, You alone created me” (Psalm 139:13). The creation of life is a deliberate act of divine love, and every child is a blessing entrusted to a parent with a God-given purpose. God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). While a child is in the womb, their birth depends on the mother’s decision to continue or terminate the pregnancy. This creates a profound spiritual battle. Through this song, we portray the cry of an innocent child in the womb, asking whether their mother will overcome this battle and give them the opportunity to enter the world and experience the salvation of Jesus Christ. Verse 1 focuses on a mother’s sacred calling, showing parenthood as both a privilege and a ministry dedicated to guiding a child toward a life that honors Christ. Motherhood is presented as a God-ordained responsibility and divine appointment. The mother recognizes her child’s birth as a transformative gift that awakens her maternal identity. Her mission is to dedicate the child to God and raise them under His guidance throughout life. Bringing the child into the world becomes a spiritual victory in Christ, while the child in the womb rejoices in the mother’s commitment to the Lord. Verse 2 confronts the tragedy of abortion—the deliberate ending of a child’s life in the womb—and presents it as contrary to God’s will. It highlights the biblical truth that our bodies are to be living sacrifices to God and temples of the Holy Spirit. The song acknowledges the spiritual weight, grief, guilt, and consequences that can follow such a decision. Yet, even when the battle is lost, God does not abandon the woman in her brokenness. He calls her to seek Him through genuine repentance, confession, and faith. Through Jesus Christ, no sin is beyond God’s mercy and forgiveness. His grace offers restoration and a new standing with Him. Our prayer is that women who have experienced abortion will find healing in Christ and live free from condemnation after turning to Him. Finally, the song draws a parallel between the ancient practice of child sacrifice to Moloch and the modern tragedy of abortion. It asks us to consider the spiritual significance of sacrificing innocent life: Who receives the glory when a child is sacrificed—to God or to Satan? Leviticus 20:2 2 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Any Israelite or any foreigner residing in Israel who sacrifices any of his children to Molek is to be put to death. Jeremiah 32:35 35 They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I never commanded—nor did it enter my mind—that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin. Apart from the Bible, this song was also inspired from the sermons of Derek Prince, Jonathan Cahn and seth Gruber. A willful Abortion is demonic, it is a sacrament to satan. In ancient days, Moloch, an idol where the child sacrifices use to happen but now idol is in the form of “self” influenced by satan, World and flesh, where the sacrifices are happening in the womb.
