Yonge North Subway Extension. Centerpoint Mall wing demolition.

Line 1 Yonge University is being extended 8 km north to Richmond Hill Centre. Five new stations being built; most will be below ground. Update from the site of the future Steeles Station at Yonge and Steeles. The wing of the former Hudson's Bay store at Centerpoint Mall is being demolished. Scheduled to be completed by Dec. 2026. Other businesses in the mall not affected. A few homes on the east side of Yonge were recently demolished. Tunnel excavation completed in York Region.
