Philadelphia has a BOLD New Vision for its Transport Future. Is It Good Enough?

Philadelphia's transit system has been sitting in stagnant misery for decades, and is nowhere near its potential. Funding is a big issue, and that's been well documented, but the main thing it's been missing is a vision to sell to the people (and the politicians) to show them what they can get if they invest in transit. SEPTA, Philly's transit agency hasn't truly had a cohesive vision for what the system can look like. Until Now. Last month, SEPTA released their vision, known as SEPTA Accelerate. And there is a lot to say about it. It'll be a long ramble, but let's see if SEPTA's vision for Philly's transit future lives up to its expectations, or if it's still not enough to break the city out of its car dependent delusions.
