09/04/2026 Friday Labor Day Vacation, Day 2

For the first time in a few years, I have been blessed enough to go out and do an extended (5 day) motorcycle ride. In days of old, I would hook up with my buddies from the greater Charlotte area, but none of them want to come up this far anymore. This trip will be a solo one, and that is fine, as it allows me to stop, smell the roses, take photos, and soak it all in - which most folks don't really want to do any more. I tried this route last year, at roughly the same time, and I had to cut it short due to breaking my ankle in 3 places. I always said I would give it another go, so if the weather holds off, there will be a ton of new vids to upload. Day two's video clocks in at a whopping 36+minutes...I WISH I could have included all of the footage, but it did have to be edited 😁 Folks have told me to try and keep the vids under 20 minutes...but it just can't be done...especially if you have a plethora of hours of GoPro raw video to sort through. *There is SOOO much footage of great roads, and etc., that I had to leave on the cutting floor.
