SpA Car SC 1:26:98 + 27:90 (WRs)

30:41 / 28:30 / 28:26 sick times on the whole. the 27:90 was very surprising given that the second turnaround wasn't strong at all; i did have a 27:95 shortly after and a few other good paces later in the session, so i think at least another tenth and a bit can come off. i wasn't very satisfied with the 1:27:26 from earlier this week, so i'm really glad i got a solid improvement and also barely got the sub; the opener ties my best (although ponytale has had a 30:33), and the other two laps are clean on the whole, though they're definitely considerably weaker than lap 1. i personally won't play this category again until these times get beaten, but i might try my hand at non-SC here since those times are also super old picking up the 1-lap WR makes me the joint car champ with ponytale. that's frankly a crazy thing to be able to say; he has taught me basically everything i know about car, gifted me the controller i've used since ESA summer 2024 (the one before that couldn't even hit the max steering values) and has been untouchable on a lot of car tracks for a long time. i'll do my best to pick up a rank somewhere and untie the position, but after all the car improvements i've made in the past two years, i don't expect it to be easy. after that, i actually need only one more hover rank to reclaim hover champ as well, which would make me champ in every vehicle simultaneously. let's get it :D
