Balancing My 9–5 and 5–9 in my 40s| Building a Business While Battling Perfectionism & Consistency

How do you balance a demanding 9–5 job while building your dream during your 5–9? And how do you stay consistent when life keeps getting in the way? Welcome back to another Vlogtober commute conversation! In today's video, I'm sharing the challenges of balancing my full-time career with my entrepreneurial journey in real estate investing and YouTube. Starting my YouTube channel has been especially exciting because it's allowing me to reconnect with a creative side of myself that has been dormant for far too long. But with a demanding career, finding the time and energy to create content consistently hasn't been easy. One of my biggest challenges? Letting go of perfectionism. This Vlogtober, I'm challenging myself to show up consistently, embrace minimal editing, and stop allowing the pursuit of perfection to prevent me from making progress. It's uncomfortable, but I'm learning that sometimes you have to start where you are, use what you have, and trust the process. I'm determined to build a successful business while maintaining my career, and I'm inviting you along for the journey—the challenges, the lessons, the growth, and everything in between. My hope is to build a community of people who are pursuing their dreams, navigating real life, and learning to show up authentically and faithfully. 💬 LET'S TALK: Are you balancing a full-time job and a side business, or struggling with consistency and perfectionism?
