Day 46 2026 USA Bike Tour

Welcome to Day 46 of our cross-country USA cycling tour! Today we rode 47 miles with 3,000 feet of climbing from Dubois, WY to Moran, WY over the mighty Togwatee Pass. Our legs were completely zapped from previous hot days in the saddle, making the climb up the Continental Divide a massive mental and physical struggle. To survive the grind, we used every excuse to pull over, catch our breath, and take photos of the stunning mountain wildflowers. Just when we thought the hardest part was over, a sudden thunderstorm rolled out of nowhere on our descent into Moran. We got caught in a wild mix of cold rain and hail, while the sun kept shining right through the dark clouds—making for a truly surreal end to a tough day.
