Taking Turns for Kids 🔄 Your Turn, My Turn | Big Tree Hill

A taking-turns video for kids and toddlers: one ball, two friends, and four helpful words: wait, turn, swap, thanks. Your child learns: how to take turns with a toy (wait for your turn, play, swap when the time is up, say thanks), with the sentence "My turn, then your turn." Good for: toy squabbles · playdates · classroom social-emotional time Words to say together: Wait · Turn · Swap · Thanks For grown-ups: Use the same words at home: "Wait. My turn, then your turn. Swap. Thanks." A timer you can see makes waiting easier. With a group, pause after "Try again" and ask the children what they would say. Every child is different.
