01 Greg Nance - Who Do You Say I Am? - Matthew 16:13-20

"Questions Jesus Asked" - Jasper Summer Series - 2026 The summer series Questions Jesus Asked invites us to listen carefully to the searching questions Jesus posed throughout His ministry. These questions were never asked because Jesus lacked information, but because He desired to reveal hearts, deepen faith, and call people to genuine discipleship. From Peter’s confession, “Who do you say that I am?” to His challenge, “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” each lesson encourages honest self-examination and spiritual growth. As we study these twelve questions together, we will discover that Jesus still asks them today, urging us to trust Him in our fears, love Him through obedience, value our souls above worldly gain, and remain faithful even when following Him is difficult. By considering these penetrating questions, we will be challenged to draw nearer to Christ and to live as devoted disciples who answer Him not merely with words, but with faithful and obedient lives.
