MV The world has fallen apart, and Celes is stranded on a solitary island. From loneliness and despair, she takes to the skies once more—on a journey to find her friends. This project began with a wish to capture that unforgettable contrast: the isolation of life on the island, followed by the moment you gain an airship and “Searching for Friends” begins to play. This FINAL FANTASY VI story MV follows Celes from the days before the world’s destruction through her reunions with her companions. To reflect her changing appearance and emotions, I created six distinct character designs for different stages of her journey. Her strength as an Imperial general, the fading spark during her time on the island, and the hope that gradually returns with each reunion—I wanted those changes to come through in the illustrations themselves. The video primarily uses still illustrations, with animation incorporated into selected scenes, including the opera performance, the Falcon’s emergence from the sea, and Megaflare. To tell the story within the video’s runtime, some events, character placements, and chronology have been adapted or reimagined. I hope you’ll enjoy it as a creative interpretation of the original story. And to all the Gogo and Umaro fans: I’m sorry I couldn’t give them a place in this video…! From an isolated island to an endless sky. I hope you’ll stay with Celes to the end as she sets out to find her friends in a world forever changed. Please note: This video contains story spoilers for FINAL FANTASY VI. This is an unofficial fan-made work. #FF6 #FinalFantasyVI #SearchingForFriends #Celes #StoryMV
